This product is also available as a Light-Duty SIP Fastener and both products have been designed to work without a washer. They will drive smoothly and quickly, making your job that much easier.

For those projects where you need to attach mineral wool, you’ll want to take a look at the Thermal-Grip Impaling Fastener. The washer seals air barrier penetration and will reduce thermal bridging. You may also be interested in the Grip-Lok MW Plate or the Grip-Lok Hurricane Washer, which are also used for attaching mineral wool to various substrates, such as wood, metal and concrete. The Hurricane Washers can also be used when attaching drainage boards for foundation water-proofing systems, making this an incredible product.
