DualGard is the most versatile 1-inch, two-pipe snow retention system for all standing seam roof applications. DualGard utilizes two S-5!® Mini clamps for extra strength versus other two-pipe systems. All DualGard components can be used with VersaGard™, VersaGard™ V and CorruBracket™ offering a complete snow retention system for trapezoidal and corrugated exposed fastened roofs.

Versatility, reliability and strength in one system. DualGard™ is a complete, two-pipe snow retention system created for those who prefer a pipe-style snow retention system with the strength, testing, quality and time-proven integrity you expect from S-5!. DualGard can also be color-finished to match the roof. The system utilizes two anchor points per bracket, and can be engineered for structural adequacy online with our new DualGard calculator and backed by independent lab testing. Installation guide

Preparation:

Gather tools: Screw gun, calibrated torque wrench, string line, tape measure, reciprocating saw, 3/16” Allen bit tip, 1/8” Allen bit tip, and a 1/2" hex socket bit.

Understand that installation varies based on clamp model and seam style.

Ensure familiarity with safety precautions and appropriate tools.

Bracket Alignment:

 Use a string line to align brackets. Measure up from the eave at each end of the run and install a clamp at each end. Wrap a string line around these clamps and pull it tight. Install remaining clamps along this line.

Clamp Installation:

Step 1: Pre-load set screws into each clamp and DualCollar.

Step 2: Install the first row of S-5 Mini clamps along the string line. Tighten each set screw to the recommended torque specification.

Step 3: Prepare pipe/bracket/clamp assembly. Slide DualGard brackets onto 8 ft pipes and adjust DualCollars.

Step 4: Attach the second row of S-5 Mini clamps with attached pipe brackets, aligning each bracket with clamps installed previously.
