Lucas Silicone-Based Wall Coating #8100 - Full Range

100% silicone based Lucas #8100 is a single part wall coating that creates a barrier that is resistant to natural weathering, is durable, breathable, watertight and weatherproof. Lucas #8100 is also graffiti resistant and will not allow adhesion of most types of water and solvent based paints. #8100 is an oxime neutral cure chemistry that is not corrosive to metals. #8100 has very low dirt pick up compared to conventional silicone wall coatings that contain fugitive extending oils and plasticizers.

Lucas #8100 is manufactured from durable inorganic silicone elastomers, reinforcing and reflective pigments and silane adhesion promoters.

Application:

Mechanically mix prior to application. Surface to be coated must be dry and free of dirt or corrosion particles. All Joints, cracks and penetrations should be sealed with Lucas #8500 silicone sealant. For best results, two coats are recommended. Apply base coat of #8100 at a rate of 1 to 2 gallons per 100 sq. ft. Allow coating to cure, typically 2 to 4 hours, then apply second coat at the rate of 1 to 2 gallons per 100 sq. ft. The second coat should be applied within 72 hours of the first coat. Use #8100 as it comes from the container, no thinning is necessary with this product.
