Lucas Modified Urethane Fluid Applied Waterproofing #4700 - 5 Gallon Bucket

Lucas #4700 Modified Urethane Liquid Waterproofing Membrane is a high solids, solvent free, moisture cure coating for below grade foundation walls. #4700 may be applied to concrete and masonry surfaces to provide a seamless waterproof membrane. This product contains no water, solvents or economizing extenders such as asphalt or coal tar.

Application:

For application to foundation walls, all seams and penetrations should be sealed with Lucas #4400 or #9600 modified polyurethane sealants. Allow 2 to 4 hours before coating over sealants. Embed 12” polyester reinforcement fabric on all inside and outside corners, apply Lucas #4700 at 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet and immediately embed fabric. Dry brush the fabric smooth. Apply an additional 1.5 gallons of #4700 on top of the fabric to fully encapsulate it. Apply base coat of #4700 at a rate of 2 gallons per 100 sq. ft. Allow coating to cure, typically 2 to 4 hours, then apply second coat at the rate of 2 gallons per 100 sq. ft. For best results, apply coating in a multi-directional fashion. Use #4700 as it comes from the container, no thinning is necessary with this product. Apply by brush or roller. The finished film will be approximately 60 mils thick. #4700 may be applied in 60, 90, and 120 mil systems.

Shelf life: One year from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool dry place. High temperatures and high humidity during storage will shorten the product’s shelf life.
