Lucas 2-Part Epoxy Primer Water Based #4015 - 5 Gallon Bucket

#4015 2 Part Epoxy Primer is a water-based adhesion promoting primer for use with Lucas #8000 Silicone Roof Coating. #4015 is not recommended for aluminum coated roofs. On PVC single-ply roofs, #4015 may be used to increase long term adhesion in areas that retain water. #4015 may also be used as a vapor barrier coating on concrete roofs.

#4015 is not intended for exposure to the elements and must be top coated with Lucas #8000 within five days of application. This is a water-based product and must be kept from freezing.

Application:

Surface to be coated must be dry and free of dirt or corrosion particles. Apply only at temperatures above 40ºF and rising with less than 90% humidity and no threat of dew or rain for 12 hours. In a clean 5 gallon pail add 2.5 gallons of #4015 part A and mechanically mix until smooth. Then add the 2.5 gallons of #4015 part B. Mechanically mix the two parts together taking care to avoid entraining air. Expected pot life under normal conditions is approximately four hours after mixing. Pot life is longer in cool temperatures and shorter in hot temperatures.

Apply with a brush, roller or suitable spray equipment at the rate of 1/4 to 1/2 gallon per 100 sq. ft. Application rates are approximate and will vary with the texture of the substrate.

Shelf Life: One year from the date of manufacture.
